The fashion style of Grammys 2013 is definitely becoming so much more interesting and “old-fashion” thanks to the CBS’s dress code. The network forbade the show’s attendees from wearing provocative outfits. “Please avoid sheer see-through clothing that could possibly expose female breast nipples,” it read. “Please be sure the genital region is adequately covered so that there is no visible ‘puffy’ bare skin exposure.”
The wardrobe standards from CBS made the fashion of Grammys 2013 less skin showing outrageous but more favor to retro-inspired.
Here are some memorable fashion moments in Grammys 2003, and I definitely believe they will strongly influence the fashion trend 2013:
A kind of old fashion never goes out of fashion, it’s called Classy Diva Look!
Katy Perry’s curvy body fit perfectly in the mint green Gucci gown with beading around the collar. She admitted she had been inspired by Priscilla Presley with her look. | Taylor Swift looked resplendent in a J.Mendel white Marilyn Monroe style gown with silver detailing, completing the sophisticated look with her hair plaited in an up-do. | Carrie Underwood joined the old school glamour contingent with a classic black and grey patterned Roberto Cavalli gown which she teamed with a 381 carat diamond necklace. |

Adele looked striking in Valentino pink floral print dress with matching shoes and earrings. I know her was voted by some websites as the worst dressed, however by knowing her so well I do believe the whole look fits her so well! Hollywood fashion critics please have an open mind! Not only one style could be called pretty! | Alexa Chung steered clear of sparkles and sweeping gowns and instead sported a low key and lovely RED Valentino dress with Valentino Garavani shoes. |
Classic Black and White Moment:
It is said by many fashion predictors, the black and white will be the most trendy combo in 2013 spring.
Beyonce is wearing an Osman black crepe jumpsuit with white panel detailing, a Swarovski clutch, Jimmy Choo shoes, and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. |
The Dress Code defying moments:
Kelly Rowland When the singer walked the red carpet at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards in L.A. Feb. 10, the 32-year-old wore a risque Georges Chakra Couture dress that featured strategically placed cutouts on her cleavage, thighs and midriff. | Jennifer Lopez is known for heating things up on the red carpet. Especially when you have the legs like her, how can you not to take any chance to show off! She excels in covering up just enough to not be considered naked. BTW, the gold anklet is a nice touch! |
